We thank and praise God for recently bringing to us an outstanding Young Adults Pastor to lead the ministry for young adults (ages 18-29) and newly married couples.

We continue to seek a qualified candidate for the following full time pastoral positions:

Celebrate Recovery and Counseling Pastor

The Celebrate Recovery and Counseling Pastor leads the Celebrate Recovery ministry alongside the Celebrate Recovery Leadership T.E.A.M. to help provide freedom and forgiveness through the gospel of Jesus Christ, and also provides personal, marital, and family counseling for people in the congregation.

Pray for our candidates

As the Vanderbloemen search team works diligently to identify candidates for the Celebrate Recovery and Counseling Pastor, we place our trust fully in the Lord to provide the right leader.

Edgewood has been blessed with gifted pastors in the past, and we are confident that God will do so again. In light of that, let's pray Jeremiah 3:15:

"And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding."

Pray for the recruiters to be able to find the right candidates to apply for our positions.
Pray for wisdom for the team that will be going through the resumes.
Pray for discernment for those interviewing candidates
Pray for safety of travel.
Pray that they effectively communicate Edgewood’s culture and heart to perspective candidates.
Pray that God will direct them to select the right candidates to move forward in the process.

Pray for open hearts.
Pray for God to draw them to our job postings.
Pray they get an accurate sense of who we are.
Pray that God will show them how He is working here.
Pray God will show them how they will be able to minister here.
Pray for them to develop relationships here quickly.
Pray for God to open and close doors.
Pray for a successful transition.
Pray for wisdom in evaluating the ministry and timing of change.
Pray for clarity in what they are supposed to do.
Pray for them as they travel.
Pray for them as they relocate here.
Pray for their families to be accepting of the move and job change.
Pray for their families as they adjust and for the changes taking place.

Pray for Edgewood

Pray for wisdom and discernment for church leadership as they consider the proposed candidates.
Pray for patience on our part and to wait on God’s timing.
Pray for Mainspring ministry as they are preparing for this adjustment.
Pray for newly married couples who will be ministered to with pre and post marital counseling.
Pray for the Celebrate Recovery Leadership T.E.A.M. as they prepare for additional leadership.
Pray for Celebrate Recovery as a whole, for the lives that will be changed.
Pray for courage for those who need counseling to reach out once it becomes available.
